M/s. Rural Electrification Corporation Ltd. (REC), a PSU under the Ministry of Power, Govt. of India (CSR Project for Skill Development)

REC Foundation, the CSR wing of the Navratna CPSE REC Limited, has partnered with BisnouliSarvodaya Gramodyog Sewa Sansthan (BSGSS) to provide job-oriented skill development training to a total of 880 underprivileged women in two project locations in Khora Colony, Ghaziabad District ( Uttar Pradesh) & Dina Nagar block, Gurdaspur District (Punjab).

Under this project, BSGSS will run two training centres in each project location covering a total of 440 women beneficiaries in Cutting & Tailoring, Beauty Culture, Computer Operation & English Speaking.

The MoA committing financial assistance to the tune of Rs. 1.25 crores from REC to BSGSS was signed on 13 September 2018 in New Delhi by Mr. S.N. Gaikwad, Executive Director, CSR (REC) and Mr. Vijay Kumar Jha, President, BSGSS,in the presence of representatives from both organisations.
